GOAL NO.3
“Becoming a professional.
Two years of active learning, analyzing, observing, and participating in economic activities (directly and indirectly) have taught me that the lack of liquidity (sufficient income) in households is one of our country's biggest obstacles.
I assume our government is under a lot of pressure to keep millions of people afloat in this unstable/changing economy.
The tertiary sector is shedding some of its old ways of doing business and adapting to the new world of Tech. Leaving several individuals (households) exposed to unemployment while creating opportunities for individuals who are already equipped with tech skills and knowledge.
I saw the look of joy on people's faces when remote work became a thing, they were happy to leave unpleasant working environments to work in the comfort of their homes, and some were happy to get an extra hour of sleep since they weren't going to be spending that hour on the road heading to the office and above all they were excited because they were going to cut down on transport costs.
Although there are concerns about productivity levels if people work fully from home.
Manufacturing companies brought in (invested in) advanced equipment to assist with production, but a lot of employees felt threatened by that course because to them it meant that the industry had limited job posts (career mobility)
