 “Personal Finance

It's my first financial year end (on records) and I'm super excited because I did not acquire any unnecessary debt. However, it wasn't easy to live below the means and enforce discipline on myself.

Throughout the year (2022) I bought groceries at Pick n Pay  ( earned some points on my Smart shopper card which made a difference in my trolley today since it was carrying slightly more than it used to  ), I bought  Golfers, Plain T-shirts, socks and undies at Pick n Pay Clothing and I bought my winter clothes and some denim jeans at Mr Price Group  ( Now I'm well put together and I  look like a sensible young man )... 

Fun fact: I chose to go digital since I noticed that these retailers are trying to limit the use of paper by producing digital receipts via email.

 “Becoming a Professional I am grateful for all the wonderful work the South African Government,  along with the Private sector,  has done for  SA citizens. I am confident enough that even though we've stumbled and fumbled ( Unemployment  rate, Poverty,  Large debt bill, rapidly growing number of criminal activities ,  Corruption inside our government and corporations,  etc.),  the worst is yet to pass. Though many of us won't be walking on this earth by the time South Africa  shifts from being a Developing country to being a  Developed country...  When we wake up every morning and contribute our skills, our time, our energy, our strengths, and all that we are ...  It is not because we don't feel the weight on our shoulders, it is not because we don't feel hopeless when we get so stre...
